# Break the Seal

**Break the Seal** is the prerequisite quest needed to craft items from the [**BTS Quest Shop**](https://dawn-ragnarok-online.gitbook.io/dawn-ro/newbies-guide/break-the-seal/bts-quest-shop) (@quest).        To begin, speak with the **Guardian of Prontera** NPC at **@npc 20**. She'll tell you she’s seeking courageous warriors to help defend the world from evil and darkness.

Once you complete the **Break the Seal** quest, you’ll be able to craft up to **5 items** from the **BTS Quest Shop**.\
After crafting your 5 items, you must return to @npc 20 and complete **Break the Seal** again to unlock the ability to craft more **items**

If you agree to gather the required items listed below, she’ll grant you access to the next phase of the quest—unlocking the ability to craft **5 items** from the BTS Quest Shop.
